There will be speakers from various countries and industries at the Science and Technology Park in Niš, along with networking nights and workshops.
Niš Nomad Weekend is put together by a Digital Nomad & a Niš IT entrepreneur. Our focus is on networking, community building and connecting people. Our mission is to bring Digital Nomads to Niš and to connect them with the digitally minded people of this city.

Our event is also running alongside the 30th year of Nišville, the largest jazz festival in the region, at a time when the city lights up with music. Nišville is from August 9-18, and the first two weeks are all free. So make sure you stay after the Nomad Weekend for Nišville's main event!
Serbia is not part of the Schengen area, neither the EU. If you are long term nomadding in Europe, Serbia is a great place for you to call home while you forget about counting schengen days.
The grey countries are non-schengen. Niš is almost at the centre of non-schengen Europe.

Niš has a small airport with lines from three carriers, Ryanair, WizzAir and Air Serbia. Here are some of the more common and regular direct routes. This list might also give you some ideas for your next destination.
First catch a plane to one of these major airports nearby.
And then catch a bus, or try blabla Car which is a rideshare application in the region.
Niš is about a 3.5 hour drive from Bansko, Bulgaria. Depending on the traffic at the border.
